Screen Design

Hey everyone,

This is my finial screen design for the A2 That's the Plan! What do you all think?

The resolution is low and so doesn't really do the banner any justice but you get the general idea.

I'd give your sidebar on the left a little bit more room to breathe. It looks too tight against the left side.

Also, align your main body text with the left hand line you've created so they're both the same height.

Other than that, it's looking nice.

Do you maybe think the character length is a bit too long?

I also agree. The padding on the links was the first thing I noticed. Maybe 5 - 10 px's to the right would solve it?

The design really is coming along though... well done.

Thanks for the comments,

I will have a tweak and repost. I understand what you are saying Craig about the character length, I did have a good think about that but I felt that the image in the bottom right broke it up quite well.

Keep up the support... it really does help.

Yeah i agree with what has been said so far, i think the navigation needs to be more centered, but keep it at a left align so it doesn't look messy.
I'd try shorten the character length too, like i said in class, it might be abit of a long line to read. Try making it two columns of text but still keep the text wrap on.

Apart from that it's looking nice, keep at it.

Thanks for the comment shaun, and im glad you found it interesting because its right, if anyone feels out of place then i dont know whats wrong.

On your design as my personal opinion, i would have had the banner fade at the botton rather then to the right.

Nice looking design Shaun. I agree with the other posts, and I'm sure you'll take into account what's been said. Look forward to seeing the final design.

I like it! I agree with Andrew, the writing is a little long.

Also if I were doing it myself I'd give the background a slight tint of colour to stop it being so bright and in your face. Maybe the palest grey you can find. It will just take the edge off it.
